4. Stay away from Simple Carbohydrates
Simple carbohydrates are foods that are loaded with sugar and have no place in your diet. They are called “empty calories” because you gain no nutritional benefit from them as they are absorbed too quickly into the body. They also cause your digestive tract to work overtime in eliminating them from the body. They linger around as fat. Drink water instead of fruit juices, soda, or any other type of sweet drink. Even so-called healthy drinks are loaded with sugar. Stay away from sugar free drinks as well, especially if they are carbonated. Switch to water and you will notice a difference in your weight by this alone. Many people consume so many calories in what they drink without even realizing it.
