It seems as if honey is the common thread for cough remedies. Here are two drinks to try.
1. Adding honey to a warm glass of milk is said to help stop a cough. Have a glass before going to bed.
2. 1 cup of hot green tea mixed with a ¼ lemon (freshly squeezed), ½ teaspoon ginger spice, and 1 tablespoon of honey. Drink in the morning and at bedtime. If the taste is not to your liking, try adding more honey.
